Our 2022 Annual General Meeting was held on the 9th November 2022 at Dee Why RSL. We were very excited to welcome international guest speaker and the inspiration behind the best-selling book and Hollywood movie Penguin Bloom, Sam Bloom!

Sam shared her powerful story accompanied by the incredible photos taken by her husband Cameron who documented the entire journey after her horrific fall in Thailand. We are so grateful to both Sam and Cameron for attending our AGM and sharing their story.

We wish to thank all those who attended, your contribution to Action is what sees us heading into our 45th year.

We would like to thank our outgoing members Kerry Parnaby and Mary Mockler who have dedicated 7 years of service as valuable committee members. Thank you to Clare Stewart, Betty Harris, Debbie O’Flynn, Serena Marinucci, Eric Cooper, Rita Kolano and Alejandra Rosales for their continued service on our management committee for 2023.

We offer a big welcome and thanks to Fiona Anthony and Robyn Chapman for joining our management committee for 2023.
